Spotlight on AI4LUNGS’ Technical Partner: Yonalink!

Who is Yonalink, and the role of Yonalink in AI4LUNGS

We are excited to introduce one of the key technical partners of AI4LUNGS—Yonalink! Yonalink plays a crucial role in the project by ensuring the secure and efficient transfer of clinical data, supporting the development of AI-driven solutions for respiratory diseases.

Yonalink is an innovative data collection and management platform designed for clinical trial sponsors, CROs, and hospitals. Their technology addresses the inefficiencies in clinical trials by enabling real-time, automated data transfer, improving both accuracy and speed in research processes.

In AI4LUNGS, Yonalink extracts pseudonymised data from patients at participating medical centers, such as Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), and securely transfers it to KPMG for analysis and AI model training.

"Data is the foundation of AI-driven research. At Yonalink, we ensure that clinical trial data flows seamlessly, helping AI4LUNGS accelerate innovation in lung disease diagnosis and treatment." Itai Rechnitz, COO & Co-founder of Yonalink

AI4LUNGS interviews are a miniseries where every month, the communication and dissemination manager Future Needs will produce a video introducing the project partners, showcasing the experts behind the scenes of AI4LUNGS.
